The Guyana Edit is editorially independent. No brand, business, government body, or organisation shapes the stories we choose to tell or the way we tell them. All editorial content is produced at the discretion of the editor.
ACCURACY AND HONESTY
We are committed to accuracy in everything we publish. Every restaurant, destination, cultural institution, or business featured on this site has been visited or experienced by our team unless stated otherwise. When we have not visited something personally, we will say so.
TRANSPARENCY
Any commercial relationship that could influence our coverage, including sponsored content, paid partnerships, gifted experiences, or press trips, will be clearly disclosed within the relevant piece. Sponsored content will be labelled. Paid partnerships will be identified.
We do not write paid reviews. We do not accept payment in exchange for editorial coverage or positive mention.
